During the initial heating of hot water, cold water is supplied by a pump. Subsequently, when the water level in the sterilizer’s storage tank reaches a specified setpoint, the liquid-level controller automatically opens the tank‑heating valve Vi, allowing 0.5 MPa steam to enter the tank directly. The water is heated to the target temperature, after which heating is stopped. Once the tank temperature drops below the setpoint, steam is automatically reintroduced to maintain the desired temperature.

When the sterilization basket is placed inside the pot, ensure the door lid is fully closed, and allow compressed air to be supplied to the pot after passing through the sealing chamber of the door lid. For safety, a manual button may be used to initiate the switching process. Once the sterilization pot enters automatic operation, the connecting valve V opens automatically; the superheated water in the storage tank is rapidly discharged from the bottom of the pot due to the pressure drop and pressure differential. When the water level in the sterilization pot reaches the position of the liquid‑level controller, the connecting valve closes immediately.

 

  (3) The temperature of the edible mushroom sterilization pot rises. The superheated water introduced into the sterilization pot exchanges heat with the cans, causing the water temperature to decrease. Heating steam is routed to a mixer to warm the circulating water and then sent to the sterilization pot. Once the temperature reaches the preset sterilization setpoint, the heating process is terminated.

  (4) The sterilization chamber of the edible mushroom sterilizer maintains the prescribed sterilization temperature for a specified duration. A small heating valve automatically supplies steam to the sterilizer as needed to sustain the set sterilization temperature. The required sterilization time is determined by the sterilization timer.

 

  (5) After the hot‑water recovery sterilization process in the edible‑fungus sterilization pot is completed, the cold‑water pump automatically starts. Cold water flows through discharge valve V10 into the pot’s water circulation system, displacing the hot water (mixed water) and transferring it to the storage tank until the tank is full. When the liquid level in the pot reaches a preset position, the level controller sends a signal to close the connecting valve and initiate the cooling phase. At this point, the heating valve of the storage tank opens automatically, allowing steam to pass through and reheat the water to a superheated state.

  

  (6) The cooling process of the edible mushroom sterilization pot offers three operating modes, depending on product requirements: direct vacuum cooling after hot‑water recovery; back‑pressure cooling followed by pressure reduction after hot‑water recovery; and pressure‑reduction cooling combined with atmospheric cooling after hot‑water recovery. Each cooling method can be adjusted via the cooling timer.

 

  (7) Once the drainage and cooling period of the edible mushroom sterilization pot has elapsed, drain valve V8 and overflow valve V4 are opened.


  (8) Initiate mushroom cultivation Sterilization pot . Pull out the sterilization basket, and the entire process is complete.
